Hi, I’m Alesia K.
I’m a destination photographer and visual storyteller working across people, places and brands.
For more than 15 years, I’ve been creating photography and visual content across Asia and beyond, working with couples, individuals, luxury hotels, resorts, destinations and brands.
Art teaches me how to see.
I spent twelve years studying art, learning to understand shape, colour, light and composition. Visual art has always been part of the way I experience the world.
I naturally notice details, study the atmosphere of a place and pay attention to the way light, colour and people interact with each other. My artistic background is still at the heart of everything I create and continues to shape the way I see the world through my camera.
Marketing teaches me how to communicate.
When it was time to choose a university, I had the option to continue my education in art. Instead, I chose to study marketing, a decision that still influences the way I approach my work today.
It taught me to look beyond aesthetics and think about people, communication and connection. It helps me understand that beautiful imagery can also tell a story, speak to the right audience and communicate the feeling and values behind a brand.
Travel teaches me how to experience.
I am naturally curious about the world and love discovering new places, cultures and ways of life. For me, a destination is never just a beautiful location. It is the light in the morning, the feeling of arriving somewhere new, the food, the people and the small details you remember long after you leave.
This is also how I approach my work. I do not simply want to document a place, a person or a brand. I want to experience it, understand it and translate that feeling into visual stories that allow others to experience it too.
